Establishing a Good Contact Lens Fit at Manhattan Vision Associates

We'll begin with a thorough eye exam to ensure the most up-to-date prescription and to rule out any pre-existing conditions that could interfere with contact lens wear.

Lenses to fit your lifestyle
We’ll determine the best-fitting lens based on your lifestyle needs and the shape and health of your eyes. In most cases, you’ll have the opportunity to try lenses on the day of your exam, and you may be able to take a few samples home with you before making a final decision.

Follow up fittings
Our New York City team will follow up after the initial fitting and make any necessary changes in fit or materials to achieve the best possible result. We teach all of our patients proper contact lens care as well as the consequences of improper care. We provide long-term follow-up to monitor of the condition of your lenses, including maintenance and hygiene.

Our Contact Lens Services:

  • Thumbnail dispoasable
Disposable contact lenses are generally considered to be far superior to hard and rigid lenses in terms of comfort and wearability.
  • Thumbnail contact exam
Let us determine if contact lenses are suitable for your eyes. In most case, we're able to prescribe contacts for even hard-to-fit patients.
  • Thumbnail contacts senior
Bifocal and multifocal lenses are a great alternative for patients who don’t like the look, feel, or inconvenience of reading glasses. They're even available in both soft and rigid contact lenses.
  • Thumbnail contacts 3
These rigid lenses aren’t as popular or well-known as soft lenses, but they offer durability, crisp vision, and high oxygen permeability.
  • Thumbnail contacts 4
Challenges such as astigmatism, presbyopia, keratoconus and dry eyes needn’t be a barrier to contact lens wear, but they do require more time and patience.
  • Thumbnail contacts astig
“I can’t wear soft contacts; I have astigmatism.” This once-true statement is now simply a myth.
  • Thumbnail contacts brands
We carry all of the top contact lens brands!
